Soul Asylum

For our group, Luang Prabang was just what the witch doctor ordered. Low key, charming, mystical, LP got the job done and satisfied our souls. Local culture seems to embrace the lingering French colonial influence, and the architecture is closer to that of Provence than that of Chiang Mai. Locals were laid back, and ex-pats/tourists were welcome everywhere. We were sad to leave.
